Alright, it's about time I let everyone know I'll be Gryffindor's Quidditch Captain this year! I'm expecting a lot from whoever ends up on the team, because we are winning the Quidditch Cup this year! Make sure you think you can handle it before you try out.

What happens during tryouts? Do the people trying out fly around fast? Can first years watch?

It depends on the position. It's important to see how you can fly in general, but different people will practice the maneuvers of the spot they're trying for.

Cool! I've never seen quidditch before. My brother's mum apparently took him to the World Cup once so he knows something about how it works. He's not very good at explaining it though.

Seen any new talents then Dunbroch? It seems like every Tom, Dick and Harry are keen to join the Quidditch team this year. It's not a bad thing, just surprising.
