Hello, everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful Hogsmeade trip and Valentines Day. I managed to survive the hustle of both events, and it was all pretty uneventful. I did buy a few things for the occasion. They might be late received, though.

I've also received a few letters from friends and family, myself, today! It means a lot that they still remember my birthday though I haven't seen anyone in quite some time. More food and a sash from home too. I hung my garland from my bed, so I hope the flowers don't set off anyone's allergies.

It's weird to think that I'm seventeen now. This next year is my last. It doesn't seem too long ago that I was a first year...

Whoever decided it would be a good idea to tie strings around every book in the library, I didn't find it very amusing. It made it incredibly difficult to manoeuvre with all those strings in the way!

And besides, that must have taken ages to accomplish. Wouldn't that time have been better spent reading the books than tying strings around them?
