Job well done to the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff teams. All of you did extremely well in the match and although there can only be one house that will hold the cup for the year, you should all be proud of yourselves. By my account, all of you are victors.

I eagerly await the next game between the Lions and the Ravens. I'm sure that neither team will disappoint! It's been such a long time since I've watched a House game, I had nearly forgotten how exciting it all is. I can't wait for the final match, I'm sure it will be a spectacular one.

Quidditch match aside, I'm afraid it's time for me to dish out some tough love to my students! There will be an obstacle course set up this Friday for my Flyers; nothing too difficult, but it will be tricky, so make sure you save some time for your brooms this week. A little outdoor activity in between your books and quills will do all of you some good anyway; some of you are turning the colour of parchment! I'm glad that students are taking their studies seriously but remember to take care of your health; eat well, drink plenty of water, and most importantly sleep enough! Don't let me catch any more students pulling late-nighters at the library. It's not only against the rules but with all those black rings around the eyes you might find yourself slowly turning into a panda!

Sleep is important for rest. Working 24/7 is tiring and you'll find yourself more likely to make mistakes. I had a friend back when I was in 6th year who went without sleep for two days and mistook the instructions for a Calming Draught for an Alihotsy Draught. It wasn't a very pretty scene, to say the least.

Indeed. I once saw my eldest use one of these when texting his Muggle friends, but it never occurred to me to try them till last week.

With so many kids who interact with the muggle world, I'm not so surprised myself.
Professor Strider is familiar with them, if you're looking for a wizard who's not a child.

Nothing like a bit of rough sport to shake things up a little. But Jones handled it well. Took it right on the chin and got back into the game. Excellent!

Things certainly have changed from my day, but I'm glad to see that wizards and Muggles are interacting and, even better, adopting some customs from each other. It's enough to give an old man like me hope for better Muggle-wizard relations.

It's always more exciting when things go wrong.

It does spice things up a little, but I feel more satisfied to see someone turn the situation around even after things go wrong. It's quite interesting to see how creative one can get when put in a tough situation.

Perhaps, but it is also quite true. I've seen it happen with my own two eyes.

Nonsense. Everyone has the potential to grow as a person; it just depends if you're willing to take the chance and aim for the skies.
