 I hope that the homework I gave out at the beginning of the break was done, but if it wasn't, this is your last chance to get it done. I expect it to be handed in on the first class we have. There will also be a short quiz for the second to seventh years on the previous year's study, so do look over your notes.

There will be no exceptions. If it's not handed in it's already a mark against your name and I'll make note to keep an eye on you in class. If you fail the quiz you get no resits.

It'll go for however long I want it to. And you'll sit there and not whine about it.

I don't want it to drag on for too long though, I have uh, homework to do and stuff after all!

You care about homework? Since when?

It's my 7th and last year, so I more things to do! Besides you know just as well as I do dragged out dinners don't end well.

You can spare some time anyway. And that's when our parents or Nonna and Nonno are there, it doesn't count.

Fine....what time should I be there anyways?

6:30. Don't be late.

You should say that to Feli, he's the one with the worst timing.

I'm planning on fetching both him and Alice from their dorms. I'm well aware of how horrible both their senses of time is.

That sounds nice. Should I bring anything?

Just yourself cara.

If you're sure Chiara. I can bring something with me to school very easily.

[tomatatas]

I'm sure. It will be nice to cook again. It becomes much harder of the school break with so many people home.

Your family is a bit of handful I imagine. Cooking for them must take half the day.

[tomatatas]

Usually it's not too bad, just Mama and me. But naturally Mama decided that this year was the year she was going to teach Alice to cook, and... let's just say Alice is better suited for art.

...Ah that must have been fun. How badly did it go?

[tomatatas]

As well as can be expected. That is to say, absolutely horribly. It looked like a war zone by the time it all ended. But you know Mama, she's as stubborn as Alice, so she kept trying.

So did Alice learn to make anything at all or was the end result a mess?
