It's not that I'm adverse to lizards, it's just...not a pleasant surprise to see one swimming around in my inkwell. Not to mention in my sheets and bag and shoes and practically everywhere else.

Twilight, I doubt any of these are your actual lizard, but do I need to keep them heated anyway? I don't have a tank or anything, but I'm sure I could find a charm to keep them warm! Just to be on the safe side...

Also, does anyone mind letting me borrow their copy of A Guide to Advanced Transfiguration? At least until I can get the ink stains out of mine. I think the inkwell lizard went a bit wild on several of the pages.

According to my research, the copies should eventually just disappear without-- I hope-- any adverse effects on the real Spike. I just don't know which one the real Spike is.

But assuming the copies still have feelings while they exist, I wouldn't want the poor things to suffer just because they aren't real.

Ah, that was what I figured. I'd rather not have a bunch of hurting lizards on my hands, so I'll try to see if I can conjure up something for them. I'll make sure to tell you if one lingers, though.

I'm no expert, but I think lizards are pretty smart! Or at least pretty good at looking out for themselves. I just hope others are cautious themselves and try to watch out for them.

I'm sure he'll be fine, though.

Are geckos not creatures familiar with being around others of their species?

Humans spend a lot of time around their own species, but I think you would still be disoriented if there were several hundred copies of you running around.

Maybe you could try cuddling with them, under blankets. That would keep them warm.

But there's so many...And they like to move around a lot, so I can't imagine them staying still long enough.

Wait, how do you even cuddle a lizard?

Well, I've been wearing some around my neck, or hugging them against my chest, or curling up around them, or keeping them in my sweater.

Only for a little while, until they get comfortable. I want to try one as a hat.

They look a little too small to be hats.
