It is my opinion that you have time. It would be stupid of him to follow through on such a serious threat immediately and so clearly abuse his power before he's even had a chance to build the followers and control he needs to be successful here. I highly doubt you'll have to go through with this if you don't want to.
I'm asking whether you are doing this purely out of fear or whether you are actually interested in Donoghue or at least like him, which is a very important thing to take into consideration given that if you do go through with this you may very well be stuck with him even after your citizenship is no longer an issue.
I wasn't saying you had to love him. A bit fond of him will do just fine. I know of him and I have no reason to believe he'd be anything other than a perfect gentleman, but I have been wrong before. That you know him better than I and can therefore reliably judge his character is reassuring. But of course you wouldn't have agreed to this otherwise.
[You should be so flattered, it takes a lot for Klaus to admit he could ever have been wrong about anything.]
I'm just worried. If Snow is making threats this drastic this soon, it doesn't bode well for later on once he truly settles in and starts exerting pressure. Don't forget, I and my family are in the same boat as you, and unless we all marry Donoghue, I don't have a failsafe.
You're more well known in the Ministry. I don't think he's stupid enough to go after someone with power, and you know well enough I'm not the type of person to obey an order I disagree with.
I think that would make family reunions rather interesting.
[permafilters hooray]
But I can't let Snow take me from Vriska. I need to get citizenship, and I hope this will give me time to do so.

What are you saying, Klaus?

I am a bit fond of him. I've known him for over twenty years, Klaus. I care about him, and I know that he won't do anything stupid and hurt me.
