[Marcie's voice sounds halfway between hysterical and amazed, scared and confused and is undeniably a shriek of annoyance. Of course, in the fact that she's kind of emotional right now, she forgot to filter this entry.]

[CONFUSION, HOOOO.]

[Instead of answering over the journals, Marceline gets up from her bed, going over to where Vriska is in their shared dorm room. Her hands reach out, shakily taking hold of the other girl by the wrist. Her touch is warm, and she lets out a small breath of air like her life depends on it.]

Do...do I feel warm to you?

[Vriska blinks up at her when she takes her wrist, not yet registering anything unusual until she brings that up...

And she actually looks surprised and reaches out to touch her arm.] ... You do. But is it possible? Maybe is a... illusion? Spell?

It's supposed to be irreversible, and I have no idea. I was just sitting on my bed with my guitar when I...i-it felt like someone jump started my heart.

[There's a muffled sob.]

I feel warm. I can't hear anyone's heartbeat. I'm hungry, not thirsty.

[She shook her head, retracting her hand since she knows Vriska doesn't like her personal space being invaded much.]

I don't know. It's not possible, that's for sure, and if it is a spell then whoever's casting it is a cruel jerk.

[She pulls her arm back when Marceline lets go.] Then it must be spell. Have you told a professor yet?

[She gives a small sigh before massaging her temples and shaking her head, trying to figure out what was going on here.]

No, not yet. I wouldn't even know how to begin explaining something like this...
