Oh my...it seems I've allowed my studies to get the best of me (yet again). Anyhow, now that I've gotten them under control I should be around more often. Although this is my final year at this school, and I know I haven't exactly been the most social student out there, I'd still like to get to know some of you. A certain someone says I should get out more and these days I feel a bit more inclined to believe him.

It is. Unfortunately, I'm not very sociable most of the time, so most of my previous years were spent in my dorms or the classrooms. I also don't stand out very much other than my height and...ah...build would be an appropriate word.

Well, I guess that's understandable. However, it begs the question: Exactly why are you deciding to venture out of your dorms now, [inkblot] whoever you are?

Ludwig. My name is Ludwig. And I suppose it's gotten a bit lonely when there are only about three or four people who I've conversed with in my earlier years.

Seriously when do you leave your room unless your brother is dragging you the hell out?

I leave for breakfast, lunch, dinner and when we have school trips as well. He hasn't had to "drag me out"--as you put it--very often these days. Though I will admit that I do tend to stick around him most of the time.

Leaving to go eat doesn't count, besides in all seven years you think you'd learn to not be so dependent on him whenever you go out.

I have my reasons...Gilbert and I both know what they are and that's good enough for me. You don't seem to like me very much anyhow--though I still don't understand what it was exactly I did to make you hate me so much--so forgive me if my social skills aren't to your standards.

The obvious that I am more comfortable around people when I'm with my brother? Whom I have known all my life.

Would it kill you to branch out more though? Your brother seems to do a plenty good job of it.

You've been holing yourself up in the room trying to get caught up and stuff...Well technically I haven't been much better (cause I'm still drowning in work), but all the more reason to get out and stop being a hermit!

I've been caught up on my work, you still need to finish yours. You know I don't like being cooped up in the room either, I just like to double check my work. There's no harm in that.

Shhh, I know I working on it. I'm almost done so no sweat.

And that's great and all bro, but I don't think you can call it "double checking" when you're going over everything five or more times. You always do good so stop stressing.

There's always room for improvement, it bothers me when I leave things unchecked. Besides, you know that I've been getting out much more than I have before. It's only when there are people involved who I don't know very well that it becomes a problem.

Its good that you aren't secluding yourself in the room anymore but talking to only 3-4 people, including myself, out of the whole school doesn't count. And the point of being social is you HAVE to talk people you don't know! And no, talking to new professor do not count.

Just because I don't go around talking to everyone in the school like you, doesn't mean I haven't been talking to people. I've met some very nice students, just...not very many of them. And professors should count, they are people as well, you realize.

Dementors? Now I know that isn't true. They're not so bad if you actually take the time to know them. However, you tend to bolt from class the moment it ends.
