[Alfred closes the journal, hops out of his bed, then heads down to the common room to wait, an excited grin on his face. He certainly doesn't mind helping Gilgamesh with his experiments~ They're fun!]

[Gilgamesh is waiting for him, reclined idly in one of the chairs with a book on his lap and his journal on the floor beside him. When Alfred appears, a grin breaks out on his face and he hops up, picking up the journal and shoving it into his pocket. The book he was reading is immediately abandoned]

Alfred! Over here.

Oh, hah! You're chillin' here already! Awesome~

[He pretty much bounces over to Gilgamesh, grinning right back and engaging in brotastic shoulder-clapping. Once an American, always an American. Gon' touch you at least once.]

What's up, bro? What'cha readin' up on, more stuff you can experiment with?

[It's a good thing he's used to this and the shoulder-clapping is returned just as enthusiastically. Most of the time he forgets that Alfred is actually an upper-classman.]

That? No, I don't want to risk creating a crater that even my father won't be able to dig me out of.

[His smirk mirrors Alfred's, just for a moment.]

[Whether he's an upperclassman or not, Alfred's way open to trying to make friends with everyone! Gilgamesh was never an exception. Plus blowing things up is pretty cool!]
