[Messy and nervous chicken scratch. Lots of ink blots.]
Um. Does anyone know how to fix bad potions? The kind that might have already been used on someone.
...Preferably without telling a teacher or going to a nurse.

I tried to make an invisibility potion.

[He lets out a breath of relief and opens it a little more.]
Quick, get in.
[Once inside, Dipper will probably notice what exactly went wrong with the potion. He's flickering like a TV with bad reception. Sometimes all of him blinks out, sometimes its only bits and pieces, an arm, or part of his face.

I think I remember reading something about invisibility potions last winter when I took some books home for light reading...

Do you think you might be able to fix this? If I go to a teacher about this and Professor Snow finds out, I can't imagine how that would look.

I'm not sure if I can fix it, but I'll try. I can't guarantee I'll make it any worse though. [He flicks a page.] Personally I don't think any of the teachers are fond of Professor Snow.

That's better than sitting here and hoping it wears off, I guess. No one else on my journal is really sure. I think someone was going to ask his roomate, who I guess is good at potions, if he had any ideas.

[Dipper scooted over a little so he could show the first year, placing it in his lap and hovering the light from his wand over it. He slides his index finger along the text, humming in thought.]

Oh...that's what I messed up.
[He sighs.]

It's okay. It looks like a mistake anyone could make. The counter potion looks easy at least.

Uh-oh. I think I might need a few extra ingredients.

I'm gonna have to duck down to the storage room before we start this. I don't have any of these ingredients.

I'll stay here. [Obviously. He's still flickering like a bad TV set.]

[He did his potions sack up and stood, looking at Norman as he reached for the door, giving the other boy a small smile.]
I'll be right back.

All right.

Good thing it's a Hogsmeade weekend. I was able to get the ingredients without being questioned.
