[Forward dated after Quidditch game]
[Guess who's absolutely pumped from that game and absolutely going to rub it in everyone's face that called them polite boring. Why yes, yes that would be her. Thus her writing is going to be very scribbled and very hasty, making it a biiiit hard to read.]
YOU BETTER BELIEVE WE WON. Who's "polite boring" now, huh? I'd say we were all pretty vicious out there and deserved each and every single point and move we did, whether you think we did or not. I congratulate the rest of my team on being absolutely amazingexcept Vald, you're still a total ass and doing their best out there!
Also, Graham. You better hope I don't find you for that crack you made, you won't be walking for a MONTH after I'm done with you.

Right, it's not as if we've been the best of friends for sixteen years or anything already. Something like that is just so easily shattered by holding hands or something of the like.

[Hi, Roderich, can you tell one of her fears yet.]

It's ridiculous, really, if they weren't all breathing down our necks I should have liked for you to accompany me to the Yule Ball. As it is it doesn't make any sense to do so, but I've already talked with Peter Parker about staging a photo to send to our respective parents to shut them up. Whether or not we actually go together.
It probably makes more sense for us to go with other people, doesn't it? Or will that attract more attention?
no subject
Did you just ask me to the ball? That... if it's for any reason other than to shut our parents up, you have the weirdest of ways to ask a girl.
no subject
By the way you were speaking, it didn't seem to be an issue. I honestly was just expecting you to shrug it off and tell me you already had a date anyway.
Is it too late to ask you properly, then?
no subject
I'd rather it have been done in person, but it's not too late, no. [What is this, she doesn't even. Roderich, what.]
no subject
We can at least pretend there is an element of surprise...
That being said, where are you right now?
no subject
Mm? In the dorms, though I don't have anything tying me down here right now.
switch to action?
[And after about ten minutes he's there, trying his damnedest not to fidget.]
Works for me
[As if she honestly expected for him to get there within ten minutes, thus she had taken her time to just fix her hair and adjust her clothes a bit. But soon enough she makes her way out, motioning for him to move off to the side a bit.]
Yes? [May as well play dumb, right?]

When she comes out, he acknowledges the gesture, following her out of plain view. There's a long pause as he looks at her, taking a deep breath before speaking nervously but determined.]
Would you... give me the pleasure of joining me for the Yule Ball?
no subject
But oh man, she's still not sure what to make of all of this. Even if her body betrays her a bit with the color coming to her cheeks without her wanting it to, knowing well enough what was coming. Though it was different to hear it in person than to read it on a piece of paper.]
I... of course. [Though she sounds just about as nervous as he does.]
no subject
That's... good to hear. I mean, there's no pressure, no... nothing official yet, but... i-it's worth a shot, yes?
no subject
Suppose so. There's nothing really to... lose, right? [Since it wasn't exactly a date or anything, just two friends going to the ball, of course.]
no subject
We'll... keep it quiet, then. Just so that we don't get an onslaught of I-told-you-sos.
no subject
[A bit of a pause, shifting a little before leaning up to give his cheek a quick kiss.] I should be heading back in now, I think, people seem a lot more riled up about the match than I thought.
no subject
...R-right, I.
[oh my god no her lips are soft ahh
her lips what even]
That's. That's fine. I -- realized I never congratulated you, either. W-what with the distractions of the... rude comments I... well done. I'm proud of you.
[does he touch her does he pat her on the back no that seems too patronizing he'll just put his hand back in his pocket]
I will see you soon, then.
[the fuck just happened]
