Good game Ravenclaws, you nearly had us there. Key word being "nearly", but it was still a good game all the same.

Hufflepuffs and Honey Badgers, I'm damn proud of all of you! This was a great start to the session, and if we keep this up I say that cup's going to have our name on it!! We've shown this school what we can do, and we're not going to stop with just this match so all of you other Houses better look out!!

Break it up you two! We shouldn't be fighting like this, especially after we've just won the game. Vlad, you were sharp enough, but blocking the Quaffle with your face isn't the best option, especially since it bounced back into the goal. You want to knock something away, use the tail end of your broom to bat it back to our Chasers. Eliza, you need to stop picking the mickey out of Vlad; he's good enough to position himself to defend the goal and one bad mistake doesn't mean he's a bad player. Laughing at him on the pitch when the whole school's already having a go at him is like kicking him when he's down, and I'll have none of that rubbish in the team.

I want you two to stop fighting. I might be asking the impossible here but we've already proven that we can do the impossible, contrary to all the low expectations and jeers we've had to face when we drew the lots against Ravenclaw. You two are great players but the team can't have this much in-fighting. I'm not going to lie here; that little fight you two both had up on the pitch embarrassed the whole lot of us, but worst of all you both embarrassed yourselves. You might not care about how other people think of you now, but in the long-run you develop the wrong kind of reputation and you'll start seeing questions about how well you two can play in a team.

Fights don't mean that you can't work in a team with someone, given that the win and the battle itself are more important than the fight. He's a... necessary evil to deal with, I guess, and it's not surprising in the least bit for people to be talking about how volatile I am. They did it back home and I figured it'd happen here, too, guess what, it did. I wasn't intending on it becoming anything physical until that low-blow.

I didn't MEAN to hit her with the quaffle it just-- happened. And I can't help it! It is in blood to hate Hungarians. As it is in Hungarian's blood to hate Romanians. But... I've been mostly restraining myself. Other than the one slip up during the game I've been fine!!

That's what every team captain wants. Seems to me, the captain who remembers why their men were sorted together in the first place is the captain who will ultimately succeed.

I was thinking about how Quidditch seems to be a Slytherin and Gryffindor preferred sport. General talk favors them anyway. Do you think that has to do with most motivational approaches favoring victory and tradition? I've never watched Tony lead the Ravenclaws but I would imagine "Let's go beat those Hufflepuffs" wouldn't be nearly as effective as "Let's go outsmart them."

Victory isn't the sole motivator of men.

Just a thought.

It was your first big game and the second one honestly shouldn't have gotten in. We were saved by a bit of luck then. Luck's part of Quidditch, and sometimes we just have bad days.

That wouldn't surprise me at all. Specter does seem to take his symbolic gestures very seriously.
Although it is just as likely that he changed his mind and opted for an even more impressive gesture. Perhaps we should ask him.
