Any worry about talking to Tavros about Shinra because of lingering crushes is forgotten, and in that moment, Gamzee is just intensely grateful for a friend.]

He doesn't cry - hasn't since he was very little - but he feels all chokey and thick inside.] It's just- ... it was so fast. Couldn't even hardly say goodbye, and he said we might not even be able to owl, 'cause they might be hiding, he didn't know.
