[Herbert nods, tearing his eyes away from that pale expanse of thigh and hip, looking back up to Bruce's face. He settles in a perch at the edge of the couch cushions, then reaches out, placing his fingers at either of the werewolf's temples. Then he starts to rub in slow, gentle circles, just at the hairline, his own slim, petite frame bend over Bruce's longer one.]

[Groans quietly at the head massage, eyes shutting and relaxing completely into Herbert's hands.]

Where'd you learn this? [Murmurs it.]

My uncle gets migraine headaches. [explains quietly, trailing his fingers down to the bony dip on either outside edge of Bruce's eyes, and rubbing gently there, too, his thumbs resting at mid-forehead and making slow circles] He showed me how to do this. It works for tension headaches, too, so I thought it might help.

[Bruce practically purrs as Herbert keeps massaging him, sighing happily.]

S'great- better be careful, I might keep you for myself if you keep spoiling me like this.

[Grins lazily up at him.]

[Herbert glances away from that smile, cheeks reddening, though his fingers don't stop, sliding now through the other boy's hair to the lower curve of his skull to rub and stroke.]

I- I wouldn't object. But somehow I don't think you'd have much in the way of competition, I'm not much of a prize.

[Eyes slowly closing he groans softly and arches his neck a bit.]

Only because no one knows how awesome you are yet. [Shivers a bit as the fingers get a good spot along his scalp.]

[Herbert keeps his fingers there, massaging along the base of his skull, wondering if this is what Bruce looks like when he's wanking ... or maybe when someone's kissing him all over. God, this is sheer torture, why the hell is he doing this to himself?]

You do. I don't see anyone else figuring it out any time soon - people are mostly pretty blind and stupid. You're probably more than I could have expected, anyway, so I'll count myself lucky there.

Eh, you'll get more people who recognize what a great friend you are, just you wait...

[Begins slurring some of his words with sleepiness, the massage slowly lulling him to doze off. His lips part slightly in a small almost-smile and he keeps making quiet noises of pleasure at the stroking along his scalp.]

[It's putting Bruce to sleep, exactly as Herbert had hoped. He's not sure he can stand much more of this - having Bruce say all these nice things and knowing he doesn't think of the smaller boy as anything more than a good friend. Some heavy is settling in his stomach, and he doesn't want to think about it any more.

So he doesn't answer the other Ravenclaw, just starts gently carding his fingers through the other boy's curls, willing the exhaustion to take him over.]

[And sleep he does, breath evening out and body falling limp on the couch in all its pale and scarred glory.]

[Herbert just sits back and looks at him for a long time, but he knows he can't stay here forever - the moon will be rising soon. So he carefully pulls the blanket back over Bruce's body, gently so as not to wake him, and he slinks out of the Shack, to head back to the dorms to masturbate furiously and pathetically in the shower.]
