So its entirely belated seeing as ive gone years with this problem but...
Well i suppose i wonder if anyone has any good studying tips?
Im plum well awful at the sport and i figure i ought to actually get my arse in gear before i run into important tests in my future.
Not like noticing this in my fifth year is doing me any favors as is haha.

That i do!
Suppose its mostly memorization and the fact that im absolutely dreadful at paying attention half the time.
I learn much better by doing and some of this is just straightup booksmarts which is something i am severely lacking in.
But tutoring sounds like a splendid idea. Im abruptly very glad i didnt take up quidditch this year.

flashcards might work i guess
or maybe associating things would work better for you

Thats very clever.
Aquamenti is like aqua which is water and you know that sort of seems to be a trend there are a lot of spells that can be broken down into simplistic words for memorization purposes.
Bugger i feel a mite foolish for not having thought of this myself.

I do believe i learn best by doing things moreso than by studying but that doesnt help me overmuch im afraid.
Since most of this is plain booksmarts and memorization more than it is a thing i can learn in practice.

I'd advise putting yourself in an environment that won't cause distraction. Also having people to study with. But choose them wisely! You don't want them to distract you from their studies.
Perhaps a good way is to quiz each other over material and study whatever you have trouble on.

I have your brother coaching me in runes already given the strider gift with language far exceeds my own and i believe i may request janeys help with potions given her knack for it through her baking.
I suppose its just studying at its core that ive always had trouble with. You know i cant sit still.

A good way to concentrate is to set up a reward or goal of some sort. You set up a goal with a reward for accomplishing it so it gives you more incentive to stick to it.
I understand, though. Not everyone quite likes studying.
