The end of the year is coming up pretty fast and I haven't really thought about what I want to do over the summer.

I was thinking about trying to get my band back together, but I really hate to do something like that since I'd just have to leave when school starts back up again in the fall.
Maybe we can get together for some weekend gigs though. If that happens it'll be an open invite to all of you.

...I guess I could always get a job. I've never had a conventional one before so it might be interesting. Maybe I could find one at a record store or a music shop. The employee discount would come in handy.

Maybe I could do some traveling. I'd like to check out Coachella in the United States but I bet it's too late to get tickets. I suppose there's always Groezrock festival and Rock Werchter in Belgium. I went to those last year and they were pretty awesome.

Anyone want to come with if I go?

I've only ever had band related jobs. I've never done anything like work in a cafe or anything.

I probably could but i don't think it'd be very fair to get my band together and then just up and leave when summers over.

That'd be great. I'm sure I could get us a place to crash for the weekend too.

I think the only thing that might be an issue for some people is the actual traveling to get there.

Well, I don't think some wizarding folk will be able to use Muggle transportation. And it'd be hard for Muggle borns to nab wizard transport in the summer since we can't do magic.

...though I'm pretty sure you can catch the Knight Bus without having to actually do magic.

They're Muggle music festivals. They're usually outside and they have multiple bands play throughout the entire day.

They're a good way to check out up and coming talent and see your old favorites all in one venue.

Well, I usually know someone or else I know someone who knows someone when it comes to getting details to shows. Perk of being a musician.
Um, most other people I know usually use the Muggle internet to find out details of things in their area.
But since you know me you can always just ask me and I can find out if anything fun is going on in your area.

I will have to keep in touch with you regularly about this. Unfortunately, I don't usually have access to muggle things such as that.
I've been trying to convince my mother, but it has been a long process.

Sure. I can do both Muggle and Wizarding communication. I live by myself so no one will look at me weird for it or anything.

Acclimating is difficult. You should have seen us when we got an Espresso machine.
It was like a war in the kitchen.
We were victorious though, just so you know.

I guess if a concert or recital can be a good date, why not a festival. Music is a good way to socialize.

Understandable. Something new is always hard at first. It's hard on the other side too. I hate that I can't have my electric bass here. It's my baby.

I've always liked them. If anything you can at least maybe discover some new music right?

I'm sure adapting to things like software won't be as terrible. My brothers are all quite adapt with it last I checked. I suppose there is some merit living and acclimating with muggles. Sometimes I think I wouldn't mind.

But that is insinuating I had time passed all the lessons I were given.

I would enjoy that. As much as I enjoy classical, having new music genres would be pretty wonderful.
