After thoroughly investigating the house cup situation, I believe the probability of winning this year is highly in our favour! We have to put our noses to the grindstone until we can smell sweet victory beneath the salty tang of everyone else's tears. If we don't, I may have to call on the powers vested in the end of my cane when walking around the common room! You could say it'll be a "shindig" for sure. >:]

Outlandish parties aside, I have to say writing on a small roll of parchment for studying is kind of restricting! Arithmancy sure is demanding in its space. It has bigger and better plans and I think it's getting its way.

[ Sorry, Ravenclaw girls. There's now red chalk all over one wall of the dorm. Some of it looks like dates, diagrams, and calculations, although it might just be overenthusiastic scribbling. It's a little difficult to tell. ]

That's very sportsmanly of your, Thor! Quidditch isn't really my thing but I do like a good game. Maybe this time I'll come sniff out this funny clobbering.

Even spectators are part of the game as far as I am concerned! You are artisticially inclined, are you not? Perhaps you could show your spirit through way of brightly coloured signs.

That's a brilliant idea. Hogwarts can always use some coool art. A cherry red sign with delicious blueberry and meandering mango lines would be the best.

Cherry red and blueberry? That sounds both delicious and as though it is a combination of Gryffindor and Ravenclaws respective colours! I should enjoy gazing upon it from the stands, though I hope you do not mean to distract me with it!

Yes, I agree, it is a very good combination!
I wouldn't want to distract you, Thor. It would be awful of me to sabotage the game.
(And between you and me, Ravenclaw's standing is kind of embarrassing! I don't know much about quidditch but I'm certain we'd need a lot more help than a delectable sign to catch up.)

I hope so! When I checked early it seemed we had a very good head start. Although, now I'm a little worried about the quidditch situation. Exactly how many points will the winner receive, and how will it effect the odds? Suddenly this outcome is a little more clouded.

Precisely! Though I must say I generally favour pancakes and bacon, salad is far too light to satisfy my hunger!

I suppose that depends on many factors. You know once a team caught the snitch, but they were still unable to produce enough points to win the match! It was terribly exciting.

That's too much brown for me. Eggs are always delicious, especially with a splash of ketchup.

That's a gamble, for sure! It must be frustrating when the other team wins that way.

Eggs and ketchup! You could call those Gryffindor colours! Perhaps your loyalties lie elsewhere.

If you were on the team that won, it would be a terribly exciting achievement.
