I'm starting to think that maybe I shouldn't play Quidditch anymore. I feel like no matter how much I love it and no matter how hard I try, that I just suck at it.
I keep screwing up majorly when it counts and I'm tired of letting everyone down. I just feel like my teammates deserve a better Seeker.

It's just getting harder and harder to stay positive you know?

It can be hard to stay positive, but don't just give up. You give it your best and I think you're pretty good at being a seeker from what I've seen; that last game was hell conditions on anyone and the other Seeker had the luck of the draw.

How about this, if you want to give your team a better seeker, maybe spend a lot of the summer break working on improving your skills? Then do try outs again next year, best seeker gets picked and I'll bet on it being you. Heck, if we live within a reasonable distance I'll help you practice.

Thanks for that Steve. I know, I do train really really hard. It's practically all I do when I'm not studying. I'm just so tired of losing by the tiniest little bit.

Yeah, I'm okay with that. It's hard for me to be able to practice in the summer though. My parents are Muggles and we live in Kensington.
Er..plus I kinda keep them in the dark on just how dangerous Quidditch can be. If Mom found out just how many bones I've broken she'd never let me play again.

You're a good flyer and a good Seeker Ms Jones. Don't ever forget that.

Fate gave you a bad hand this time round Ms Jones, but you've had quite a few good catches in your years as Seeker. There's never been a Seeker that has had a 100% catch rate. Even the best have occasionally let the Snitch slip right out of their fingers, so don't be too hard on yourself.

Yeah, if I thought we needed a better seeker I'd get one. But seeing as you're still proud and on our team. Looks like you're stuck with us.

Besides, you've won us games, just not this one. If you ever need summer practise let me know. I'll send a car for you.

I know..I just feel like I always screw up when it's down to the wire. Summer practice would be great though. I'm usually stuck in Kensington where people can see if I flew anywhere. Not to mention I live around Muggles so there's that as well.

I have a few muggles over here. But, they're high society so they don't really look out windows. Especially in the morning seeing as they're usually sleeping off the night before.

Did you have fun playing the last match?

That's an advantage. I pretty much live in the 'burbs so there's always someone around.

I did! I thought for sure I was going to knock into Griffyndor's Seeker. Now that I think about it I probably should have.I might have knocked them off their path.

If you had fun, then my ob of Captain's complete. Sure we didn't win, but we made it to the finals a win's a win.

And yeah, knocking into them probably would have been a good idea.

I suppose you could look at it that way.

I thought about it. I was just worried how the impact would effect my flying. I don't weigh that much so I thought it might knock me aside as well.

Well yeah, you are... Tiny. But hey, even you could correct after something like that. We could always work it into practice next year?
