I went and asked the )(ouse elves if t)(ey would make some raivas - I )(ad to give t)(em a recipe, but t)(ey did a good job! - if anyone wants to )(ave some and talk to me about anyt)(ing? (Or even if you just want me to bring you some raivas and give you a )(ug! 38)

O)(, raivas are a type of cinnammon...biscuit, I t)(ink it is in -Englis)(. It's a recipe from my )(ome country! T)(ey're very good!

[She closes her journal and grabs the box of cookies tied with a green ribbon and then heads out through the common room, approaching the entrance to the Slytherin common rooms with only a little bit of hesitation.]

[It's not long before a tall, lanky figure climbs out of the portrait hole. It's not class time, which means Gamzee has those polka-dot pajama pants he loves on, a t-shirt, and his face paint. Also, he's carrying a small cardboard box, which he tucks under one arm as soon as he sees Feferi, the better to grab her, pick her up, and swing her around, with a big, goofy grin.]

Hey, baby girl!

[Feferi remembered the first time she'd seen Gamzee with his face paint on. Frankly, she'd been a little scared! But then she realized that he was still the same mostly-harmless doofus with or without paint on his face, and since she doesn't really understand why he wears it, she tries not to judge him for it! Despite her attempts at being quiet, she lets out a giggle when he picks her up and spins her around. She ends up holding the cookies over her head so they don't get crushed or dropped.]

Hi Gamzee! How are you?

[mo_cara]

My shit be fine and dandy, now that I seen you. [setting her down with a honk, and then untucking the box, holding it out to her]

[She takes it, looking at him a little surprised.] What's this?

[mo_cara]

Motherfuckin' Christmas present! You got those all where you come from, right? [Gamzee frequently forgets the people he know's various ethnicities, but he may also be of the belief that, say, Americans don't celebrate Christmas, too. It's hard to tell.]

[She giggles.] Of course we do! But you didn't have to get me anything. [Even still, she's bouncing a little with excitement and grinning ear to ear. She wants to open it noooooooow can she can she can sheeeeee]

[mo_cara]

[She can! ... it's probably not all that exciting.] Nah, sis, I made this with all the motherfuckin' love in my heart, so it don't count as getting you anything.

[She beams up at him.] Well then I'll have to make you something extra special!

[When she goes to open the package, she remembers that she still has the box of cookies tied with the green ribbon. She smiles and holds it out to Gamzee.]

Here are the raivas! There's enough in there to share with the rest of the Slytherins, too, so don't eat them all, because I'll find out! [She puffs out her cheeks in a playfully put-out sort of way. But then the next minute it's gone and she's off, tugging at the cardboard box with her tongue sticking out in concentration.]

[It's a pie. This is probably not surprising - Gamzee bakes a lot of people pies. But what's interesting about this one is the crust.

He's gone to the trouble of cutting little fish shaped vent holes around the edges. They're uneven enough that it's obvious he did it by hand, and didn't have a stamp or anything for it. More than that, he's pained on the golden brown top with ... food color? It's obviously not actual paint, but the whole pie is covered in color, blue and purple and green and yellow. He's not exactly a great artist, but the picture is clear enough - a girl with the same color and length hair as Feferi, wearing her glasses, with a fish tail, what are probably mean to be pearls, and a crown made of sea stars. He's painted Feferi as a sea princess on the crust of the pie.

With a Hufflepuff scarf.]

[It takes her a minute to grasp the full breadth of the thoughtfulness of the pie. Then she lets out a delighted gasp and beams from ear to ear. It's one of, if not the most thoughtful thing anyone had given her! It's a total shame that it's a food product, because then she can't keep it forever!]

Oh my gosh! It's amazing, Gamzee! That's me, isn't it! And look at all of the cute little fishes! [She giggles.] Thank you so much!

[After a split second of hesitation, she reaches up on her tiptoes and gives Gamzee a little peck on the cheek, and hopes she didn't rub his makeup off.]

[She leaves a little smear in the white, but if he notices or cares it's impossible to say. He just grins at her and ruffles her hair.] Sure thing! It's currants and shit - hope you like that stuff.

I've never had it in a pie before!

[She's never had a lot of pies.]

But I love currants! Thank you, Gamzee!
