I don't suppose anybody would be willing to explain to me how eckle eklc eeeeelec electricity works? Or at least make up a diagram? I have a summer project that involves working out a way for electricity to work for wizards, and I'm not really sure where to start, so I figured asking the experts would be the best option.

The fate of the wizarding world could be at stake here so I expect proper answers! Don't think that just because I'm a pureblood means I'm ignorant or dumb!

It was discovered by use of a kite, so they're right in that. But we don't do that.

Electricity is generated at a power station by electromechanical generators, primarily driven by heat engines fueled by chemical combustion or nuclear fission but also by other means such as the kinetic energy of flowing water and wind.
