[Bro has been watching the journals like a hawk since everything started hitting the fan. He wasn't interfering though, because he knew that Dave and Dirk needed to talk it out. He couldn't help but smile when Dave told him to come and find him.

When he heard Dirk getting up, he was already moving. He met Dirk at the doorway just in time to see him peeking out of it.]

_{[For a moment, Dirk looks shocked to see Bro so suddenly. And he really is. He's not used to Bro's ability to spontaneously show up right when he starts looking for him. Once he gets over the initial surprise, he finds himself stumbling over his own words.]}

Dave said for me to tell you to give me the best fucking hug that's ever giveable. Twice.

[He doesn't say anything else as he gets down on his knees so that he's level with Dirk. He inches a little closer and then wraps his arms around him. He rests his chin on Dirk's head and squeezes him- not too tight, but just right.

It's the best Bro hug that he's ever given, definitely.]

[This time, he wraps his arms around Dirk's arms, too, trapping them at his side. He arches his back and lifts Dirk off the ground a couple of inches, before twisting and swinging Dirk back and forth. He tries not to laugh, but he lets out a chuckle anyways.]
