Books to read over the summer.
An extremely incomplete list.

Reread the complete works of H.P. Lovecraft. Push off other reading endeavors until this is complete. For a Muggle, he was surprisingly well-written. You would all do well to read it.

[ Following this there is an extremely long list of both Wizard and Muggle writers, a lot of things that sound like they were written over one hundred years ago, especially in the wizarding department.

It's so long that it takes up several pages in neat, elegant script. ]

There, I think that's sufficient. It's been a pleasure learning with you all this year. If you need me, simply send an owl to the Lalonde residence. I'm looking forward to a long reprieve from homework with a decent amount of light reading to keep me company.

Jade, John, if you want to do something this summer, let me know. Although my plans are lofty, I don't doubt that my mother will find some way to sabotage them. I might have to turn to plan B for my solitude.

Reading is one of my favorite pastimes. I have had some problems finding good muggle novels to read. This list will prove most useful for that.

If you need more, simply let me know. But if you have any suggestions for wizard writers, I'd love to hear them. There's just nothing quite like the sharing of books to make a summer more pleasant.

I don't think quiet necessarily means you're any less interesting.
My [ INK BLOT. . . ] brother and I are quite different in that regard, too.
He's much more focused on the male genitals, for example.
