Books to read over the summer.
An extremely incomplete list.
Reread the complete works of H.P. Lovecraft. Push off other reading endeavors until this is complete. For a Muggle, he was surprisingly well-written. You would all do well to read it.
[ Following this there is an extremely long list of both Wizard and Muggle writers, a lot of things that sound like they were written over one hundred years ago, especially in the wizarding department.
It's so long that it takes up several pages in neat, elegant script. ]
There, I think that's sufficient. It's been a pleasure learning with you all this year. If you need me, simply send an owl to the Lalonde residence. I'm looking forward to a long reprieve from homework with a decent amount of light reading to keep me company.
Jade, John, if you want to do something this summer, let me know. Although my plans are lofty, I don't doubt that my mother will find some way to sabotage them. I might have to turn to plan B for my solitude.

I live in the middle of nowhere.
I doubt a postman would be able to discern the location of our house, let alone figure out why he was handing the mail to a small house elf.
Also our owls would be quite depressed! Think of all the work they weren't able to do.
She's got a lot of work for the Ministry to do.
