I suppose now would 8e a good time to announce the contents of a letter I received this summer. Oh, I'm so very excited, and honoured to have such a responsi8ility given to me.

8ut I mustn't get carried away.

Come the fall term I will join a long and prestigious line of Ravenclaw prefects. Dum8ledoor has given me the high honour of 8ecoming the female 5th year prefect and I could not thank him enough.

I can 8arely 8elieve it, even as I write this!

So, fellow housemates, do not hesitate to come to me if there are any pro8lems you face. I swear to do my uttermost to find successful resolutions for all of your issues.

I would also like to remind old students and inform those who are new that I often offer tutoring for those who feel they need it. I will still have time for that, so please, let me know if you think you require aid.

I'm so very excited to 8e returning. The wait may 8e almost un8eara8le, don't you agree?

Why shouldn't I 8e Professor?It's quite an honour to 8e chosen for the task, having a lot of feelings on the su8ject is only natural!

Perhaps I could have! 8ut I am often told I ram8le, even with my writings. I'm trying to cut down though it can 8e rather hard when I am so excited.

Haha, well it is definitely a skill that took some time to learn! 8ut it's not so hard to stick to plans if you enjoy doing what you have planned or plan things you enjoy to come after something that you do not. That can always helpful.8ut yes, more a skill than a secret.

I of course have 8een prepared since the second week of 8reak! Though I did only just get certain supplies, ones that would not keep so well over summer.

I would compare teaching to war, actually. There are a great deal of similarities involved.

No wonder you were made prefect.

I wouldn't. Teaching doesn't usually end in the death of many. And perhaps with the war still being only so recently ended such comparisons might still touch nerves.
