08; Filtered away from Vriska

[So you may or may not have noticed that ever since camp, Tavros has been MIA. He's not responded to any journal entries, nor has he contacted anyone in person. In fact, he hasn't even been keeping up with anything on the journals at all, considering the fact hasn't even touched his journal. The reason? Ever since he took out Vriska's eye when she attacked him, he's become a recluse. He's barely left his room and hasn't left his house at all. If anyone could see him, they'd notice he looks thinner than normal, too, as he hasn't been eating properly. Having an eye fall into your lap is a traumatizing experience. Having your friends eye fall in your lap because of your spell is a million times worse.

But along with all of this is also guilt. He feels really, really bad for not having gone to see her in St. Mungo's or just checking up on her at all. It's now that the guilt has finally gotten to him enough to try and see how she's doing. Only he's going about it the cowards way and not asking her directly.]

[This is the one person Gamzee will break journal silence for without a request (who isn't a teacher, anyway). He's been actually kind of worried about Tavros, but he thought maybe he'd done something wrong to make the other boy not want to talk to him, just like Karkat wasn't. But since he is totally out of the loop on what happened with Vriska, this is all pretty much a mystery.]

the teachers are saying the fight was because of a dark spell so i dont think she hates you she was really mad at herself when i talked to her actually

The ways it's 8een told to me it seems like everything went crazy at camp. And if the ministry is investigating there's pro8a8ly magic 8eyond a 4th years a8ility involved. Strong enough to influence many. And if you were influenced and Vriska attacked instincts to protect oneself come into play. So no one 8lames you. Or thinks you're a monster.

...she'll get 8etter. She's a strong girl. Physically she's healing 8ut it will pro8a8ly take time for her to mentally heal.
She'd pro8a8ly like to gear from you though. You should write her a letter.

Even if she was mad, I don't think she would have acted the way I am told she did. That reaction was unnatural, to severe for small slights. I'm sure they are right in saying it was dark magics.
It can 8e scary, 8ut there are people working on the case now. So they won't let it ever happen again and they'll catch the 8ad guys. That's how it goes.

You could write it and I could give it to her? You need to do somethin though, not talking to her at all won't help, and it'll pro8a8ly make it worse.

Nah, Vriska wouldn't do anything like that if you were just annoying her, but I can't speak for her myself since I haven't been to see her. From what I heard it sounds to me like someone wanted to cause trouble.

I think you should visit her, let her know how sorry you are. Because sitting on it won't do you any good. You'll just keep feeling guilty about it until it swallows you whole.

And you're definitely not a monster. Monsters are created, not little weenies like you.

Accidents happen and people get hurt. The Ministry of Magic would have arrested you by now if they thought you were a threat.

You and Serket both need a swift kick back into gear. What happened was horrible, but from what I've heard about that camp, it wasn't your fault.

Now, listen, all of what happened is in the past. All you can do it about it is apologize to Serket and help her deal with things now, and she ought to do the same for you. Sounds like it messed you up.

The last I saw of Miss Serket, she seemed to be recovering well. The doctors aren't too concerned and she's to be released soon.

I'm also not the person you should be apologizing to. While I think Miss Serket does not blame you, and neither do I, I do think she would appreciate your presence your presence at the hospital.

You aren't a monster, Tavros. What happened at camp wasn't anybody's fault. Remember what Professor Coulson said? Some kind of hex got put on everybody there by somebody outside camp. It wasn't your fault at all.

She's gonna be okay. She's a strong person. I'm sure of it.
