Right, for the ankle biters, that's my 1st through 3rd's:

I want my 4th's to do 4 inches on the practical uses of using cross-species switches in everyday life, because we'll be actually doing it in class soon. And my 5th's I want a list of pros and cons on using Geminio. At least four things on each side.

My 6th year nippers:

We're going to be looking at human transformations. So I want 6 inches on the differences between Animagi and Metamorphagi

7th years get nothing extra. just focus more on you're N.E.W.T reviews.

It's almost spring, and that means Easter break. I don't care about bunnies and finding eggs, I just like that I'll be able to go home and go deer stalking. If I get any chocolate or those marshmallow chickens, I'll leave it in the common room for anyone who wants it. If there's any homework over the break I'll work on it during the train ride. I need to get something for Mom and owl it out. Maybe I can send her some plants.

There's too much stuff in March. St Patrick's, Easter, Mothering Sunday and the time switch.

I'm sure you all just fucking love essays, don't you? Well it's been too long since I assigned one and considering my last assignment mysteriously went missing, that's what you're gonna get. So pick a language of your choice, I don't even care which one. It could be pig Latin for all I care at this point.

The first person to complain about this assignment gets 100 points taken away, so just shut up and do it.

Whoever has the most compelling argument on why people suck gets 150 points and the essay blown up and stuck in the entrance hall for everyone to see every day.

Alright, practical jokes are fine, but someone better tell me the password to Gryffindor tower. I don't know who knocked me out and put me in the Slytherin common room, but it's old now. Who ever you took that sweater and tie from will find them on one of their couches.

Once I get back in to my dorms, I think we need to have a snowball fight. We could do it between houses, like Quidditch since there is no match this month. Don't be sad when Gryffindor wins though.

I'm thinking of canceling outdoor Archery club meetings until Spring. We can try and do some work indoors, but it might not happen. There are other clubs to join this time of year if you need something to do. Like choir or something, that's an okay kind of club this time of year.

I'm glad those creepy things that followed some of us around are gone. Did anyone else have one? It got really annoying being called a failure 24/7.

The holidays are coming up pretty quickly. I'm going home for sure. It'll be kind of nice to get back to my recording equipment. I've written out a few new songs and I'd really like to finally get them down.

Oh, and speaking of the holidays we have the Yule Ball to start thinking of as well. The Music Club is going to be playing so we'll have to work on a playlist for that as well. I'm thinking we should do a mix of traditional holiday songs and some normal songs as well?

And more importantly...I'll need a date. Not a just-friends-date either. I'd like to take my date out beforehand. I'll even actually dress up.

Is anyone particularly knowledgeable about cats?

Mine has taken to killing spiders and bringing them to me. I would very much like her to stop. Sometimes they're not completely dead and I have to put the poor things out of their misery. I'm not sure what I did that would make her think I'm incapable of hunting for myself or whatever thought is drifting about in her vapid feline brain, but any suggestions for deterrents would be appreciated.

I must apologize for the delay in addressing the Halloween incident. You can rest easy knowing that I've been hard at work on the matter ever since it happened, contacting the Ministry and coming to the best course of action.

The Ministry and I believe that a powerful, dark magical object was brought into the school as a prank intended to make the ministry look like a fool for disregarding the incident at camp. The situation got out of hand, as you are all well aware of. As such, the Ministry has decided that in the next couple of weeks, security in the castle is going to be tightened considerably. Random trunk checks will be conducted and anyone leaving or entering the castle will be searched thoroughly, as will mail.

Finally, I will be questioning everyone personally. I will find out who did this, and I will make sure they are punished accordingly, expulsion being the minimum.

Well, that was an exciting game. I reckon we might have to step up our game a little if we're going to have any hopes of holding up the Cup this year. I'm having another training session this coming weekend, so Hufflepuff Quidditch team? You know where you're going to have to be.

If enough teachers get injured in their Quidditch match, are classes on Monday canceled? I can't see all of them recovering as fast as a teenager.

I'm sure you've all be wondering why I've had the ground outside of Greenhouse One plowed as I did. To answer that, I'm asking for volunteers to help finish the job. You're to be planting magical seeds within the garden. When they grow, the vines will snake over the the greenhouse, and then roses will sprout from within the vines. These plants are of my own creation, and once fully grown they're quite lovely. They are charmed to collect sunlight and filter it into the greenhouse as well, so they won't be blocking out the sun like you might expect.

I would like for a few students to volunteer for this task. Consider it penance for all of the trouble caused a few days ago.

Also, every student in my class are to meet this Monday in Greenhouse three. We will be planting and growing orchids for Professor Donoghue and Professor Matteris's wedding.

Love, when it's genuine, is a beautiful thing, wouldn't everyone agree?

I don't offer advice very often, but it just so happens that I'm feeling relatively altruistic today, so listen closely.

If you don't want to be on the Quidditch team for whatever reason -Speaking personally, I can think of a number of perfectly valid justifications for wanting to stay on terra firma- maybe you shouldn't show up for the tryouts

But I think this advice probably comes too late for most of you. My gold's on Hufflepuff this year.

I'm still pissed off that I got put on the fucking Quidditch team. I mean seriously, what the hell? I don't have time to play Quidditch. It's so stupid!

And it's not going to calm me down or whatever like they said it will. The idea is just pissing me off even more.

What's it take to get kicked off the team?
