I'm not fond of Quidditch. The only games I've ever seen are the ones held at school, and even then I don't stick around for very long. I just don't see the appeal. I suppose it could be entertaining, if you find sparrows quarreling over bread crumbs to be entertaining.

That's the thing; I don't really care one way or the other, I just found it weird that you'd feel the need to mention something like this without prompting. So silly me thought she'd ask why, like a sensible person, and clear up some pesky curiosity. And instead of explaining, you become passive-aggressive. As if you were defensive about what you'd written or something. Curiouser and curiouser!

That does explain the passive-aggression. It does not explain why you felt the need to air this quidditch grievance in a public forum. My curiosity remains unsated.

If you don't like the idea of me knowing what I want to know, you are not obligated to tell me. But I am going to find out. So you are obligated to make a choice: the hard way or the easy way?

[...Yeah, she's just being a troll at this point.]

Really? You use this thing like wizarding twitter? Oh, this is going to be great, hahaha!

And thank you for choosing the easy way~. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Twitter's a little like these journals, but for muggles. There's a character--er, letter count that you can't go above though, so everything ends up really short. This isn't conducive to real communication, so most people use it to post their passing thoughts (like "I don't like quidditch suck it") or to keep the world up to date on what they're they're doing every moment (like "OMG I just farted, it smells like burrito").

Nobody else uses the journals quite that... inanely. I'm going to enjoy the fallout.

Well, I'm not going to rule out the possibility of me missing entries, but from my experience people post things that they want to talk about with other people. If you didn't want to discuss quidditch, why would you bring it up?

Yeah yeah, "if I don't like it, I don't have to read it"--that's missing the point, you know. Your actions are going to cause reactions. Throwing shit in the water and then getting upset that it causes ripples is just really fucking ridiculous.

Haha, oh man, you're really going to do it. This is going to lead to so much butthurt on both sides. Like I said, I'm going to enjoy this; you trying to think out loud into the "void" and your consternation when you get back more feedback than an echo. (Hehehehe)

Because this promises fun for me! This whole thing is full of passive-aggressive on both sides and it's hilarious.

What, seriously? Man, that's kind of disappointing. I guess smacktalking quidditch just gets people's knickers in a knot.
