But I'd like to now talk about the current dorming situation.
I am sure all of you are shining examples of good behavior, but let it just be forewarned that no tom foolery will be acceptable. That goes for those of my House and those who will be temporarily staying.

Besides that, I'd like to know who has what classes and whether or not we will be sharing courses together. Other than the standard, everyone must be taking something fulfilling for their electives. I feel like I haven't seen any of you enough with me being abroad for the Summer. I hope I didn't miss too much.

You may keep Christmas, but the stores don't exactly. While we could easily acquire them off season, they are best during the season. You'll just have to be patient in becoming an alcoholic I'm afraid.

Some chocolates are seasonal as to like how some foods are seasonal. It is fairly common in many cultures.
You'll just have to deal with it. I have no powers as to when manufacturers wish to advertise their delectable delights.

Arithmancy, Magical Languages, and Ancient Runes.

Divination, Magical Languages, and most likely Care of Magical Creatures. I considered Ancient Runes too, but I may hold that off. As much as I would love to take all my classes all the time, I would like to free up some time for myself.

Sound choices. I admit I questioned Divination when introduced to the subject, but it does, indeed, appear sound.

I had been wary of the subject myself, but I found it to be incredibly satisfying.
If anything, Divination has become my favorite subject.

D --> Lalonde, you must stop with the French interjections. You are going to confuse the first years. At least provide translations?

I am taking Magical Creatures, Muggle Studies, and Arithmancy this year. I am also contemplating Magical Languages, but we will see with that one.

You are also required to recount your adventures abroad to me. It must have been quite the summer.

I can't help if not everyone had taken French. I go out of my way to learn so many languages, including English. I think I am entitled to indulging my French culture once in awhile.

It looks like we'll have an elective together. Two if you take Magical Languages.

Would you like that in person or in essay form?

And just which elective is that? You do not seem like the type to take Arithmancy.

Both, if you are so willing. I would love to hear about it in person, but being able to read your lesser exploits would be just as amusing.
