★ SEVENTEEN

Do you guys realize Gryffindor is in negative points? What the heck have you guys been doing? Does anyone even care about making your House look good anymore? [Well, sure, she'd gotten detention before school was even in session but-- a teacher had called her dumb!]

Seriously, was staying with Hufflepuffs really that hard or something? Knock it off, or I'll give you something to lose points over.

How unfortunate! Beaten at a game in which we fly on broomsticks and throw balls into hoops and try to bludgeon each other.
My heart cries at the thought of us not being successful in it.
I think you fail to realize that my interest in winning in a sport I don't even participate is at the same level about how much I care about what I'm having for breakfast tomorrow.
If you were curious. I figure it out when I walk into the Dining Hall and seat myself to see what is available. What a concept!

I didn't say I did not understand it. Perhaps you should try to read between the lines better, instead of making a mockery of yourself.
I do not have any interest in the sport nor do I play it. I, however, have knowledge of it because I have friends who are interested and it would make me a rather terrible friend if I did not at least try immersing myself into the the knowledge so I can at least keep conversation.
So please stop assuming I have no idea what it actually is.
Also, I don't care about winning points. My success in the future is not tied into whether or not my House has the most points during my 4th year.

I'm sorry your intelligence level doesn't quite meet the standards. I'll be sure to speak with less words.
You obviously missed the part where I actually keep up with the sport for the sake of my friends. A hard concept to consider, I know. People learning things because their friends like it. Gosh.

Oh no. We're losing because you can fly a broom but you can't successfully cast a spell that is more detrimental to your survival in the future. I'm so very broken about it!

You assume I haven't played before. Just because I'm not on the team doesn't mean I haven't played before.

It was hard to tell since you seem to be quite bumbling.

Oh, I'm sorry? Did I have to vocally tell you that I have flown before? That I took Flying first year and have friends who enjoy the sport so it would be an obvious activity one would partake in during their Summers or when they wanted to enjoy their time with friends?
Is that what you're getting at?
Yes! I have flown. I have played! You now know. How dare I not be upfront.

You're correct in that I don't care who wins. As long as my friends enjoy themselves than I'm glad it's around.
You're the one who seems to act like points are such a huge deal.
I believe almost all of us are in the negative, mind you.
Although, I'm curious as to how many people it took to pull that off now.

I don't see how negative points mean your House or team are not people you can hold with pride. It seems the current year is rather turbulent to say the least.
Could it be you're a superhero in the making? Do you hold a secret alter ego in which you fly off precariously into the night to do the good deeds others can never amount too? How on Earth do you put the time to keep the wizarding world safe while still acting as a student and fellow peer.

That's not what I meant. Negative points are just numbers that you're making a fairly big deal out of. If you think they're completely fine people, points or not, then I don't see why you need to commandeer them to stop their actions. We're allowed to make mistakes and learn from them. You cannot learn without doing so. That is the point of receiving negative points, I assume.
Also, that's a fairly dumb implication. Just because they rack up negative points, don't mean they don't actually care for their housemates. What a silly implication, honestly.
All you actually care about is winning.
