Our house is notorious to having the type who like to cause trouble.
I'm honestly not surprised, given the entirety of the situation.
I would honestly still gloat regardless.

Ah, now here is a viewpoint I like! We can still gloat, indeed. We are better than them, after all.

Points are arbitrary. I like to think that even if we don't succeed in winning the House Cup, we excel anyways.
I know for a fact that I do not need a point system such as that to tell me that I am much better than many of our year in the other Houses.
I'm sure you are just as successful in your endeavors.
Plus, the House Cup is a team effort of some kind. One person brings the entire team down. That's hardly our fault.
