He's managed to let his mouth overrun his good sense and get himself under the High Inquisitor's radar.

I think that a lot of people managed to do that the other day. Regardless, is there anything I can do for him? I don't want him to feel unsafe.

No doubt, but he was quite affected by it.

I hope I've managed to persuade him to keep out of Snow's way, but I thought to tell you, in case you should see him engaging the Inquisitor again.

I imagine he would have been. Inquisitors are terrifying people, I do not believe father has warned him so sternly about them.

He was, though he made a valiant effort to hide it.

I think he'd be quite cross with me should he know that I informed you.. so in the interests of retaining his trust in me I think I'd prefer you be discreet.

I will act as if it were my brotherly instinct, then. Of course, I would have suspected him to be shaken he can be difficult to read at times.

I can't say I ever saw you so easily entrusting your younger brother to the care of someone else, and certainly not with that title.

There could be many answers to that.

But I suppose House rivalry isn't really a concern here.

It would be foolish of me to judge a man by his house when my most beloved brother is a snake.
