While I'm sure nobody will care. I'm just letting everyone know that I wont be going to Hogsmead this weekend.
I'm really in no mood for frivolous traipsing about in the local town to be quiet honest. And I will very much enjoy the silence of the tower being quiet.
It will let me catch up on my writing. It's not like I wanted to go out anyway.
[She is sulking because Arthur didn't tell her that he is dating now.]

Please don't cry. You really shouldn't. It doesn't suit you.

Courtyard.
[When Alfred arrives she's going to be sitting on one of the stone benches, here eyes red behind her glasses. Wearing a brown skirt, white blouse with a sweater vest that matches her skirt. She's sitting formally and looking at her knees.]
[Action]
When he meets her at the courtyard, he's wearing a t-shirt and jeans, with his bomber jacket on, and hands shoved in his pockets. He walks over to her and just stops...a few feet away.]
Um. Thank you. For coming out here.
[One hand strays up from a pocket only to reach into another, this time in the breast of his bomber jacket, to tug out a ridiculous little paper star. Well. No one said it was the best.]
I'm sorry I haven't got candy. And candy wouldn't make everything go away anyhow. But I did make this outta folded paper. 's a trick I learned when I was in middle school. Before I came here.
[He holds it out to her. And as he speaks the next part, Victoria might notice how his back straightens and his speech becomes more...formal.]
And...I'm really sorry. What I wrote in those journals was in no way appropriate to the situation. I should have waited till some time had passed rather than just blurt out in public forum--so to speak, I mean it's a journal...--that I had initiated a relationship with your cousin. And I wish I was as dear to you as he was that I could just...hug you and maybe it'd be easier to believe that I mean it.
[Action]
While Alfred talks she watches him, her eyes flicking between him and the star which she plays with absently. She waits until he's finished and takes it in for moment.
Sighing she looks up at him.]
You could really make it in the Ministry, Alfred Jones. Because it sounds like you really mean it.
[She stands and closes the distance between them.]
Please remember that Arthur is very temperamental, and only speaks his mind when affronted, or truly comfortable. Keep this act up, and you will always know what his on his mind, but you will not be together long.
I wish you both a happy time together. Thank you for the star, it is very sweet. I have things to do, please excuse me.
[Seeing him competently express himself, Victoria knows that if he can keep that up he could work with her cousin. Making her worry even more that she will be left behind. So before she can start crying again she starts to walk past him and away. At least glad she was able to speak in such a steady voice.]
