Right. This thing. How do I start something like this? "Dear Diary" sounds really stupid, the kind of thing you write in a journal that's pink with pictures of kittens on. This one's just... brown. With brown on.

That's an awful start too. How do I erase in this thing? Can I even erase in this thing?

So. Someone I talk to regularly about things told me to write about my life in the journal system. She thinks it'll help.

Not much of a point to that since nothing happens to me.

You can't erase things; you just strike them out till no one can see what you wrote. Like this: Arsenal is a bloody awful team.

And sure there's stuff to talk about. Like the strange week we just had. I heard there were talking goats.

Good to know. Ta. Let me test that out. No argument here. It gets to a point where you start to just feel sorry for some of the clubs, though. Looking at you, Swansea.

Maybe you hear more about that stuff if you're in the journal system. I had a pretty good day in that week, but I didn't run into any talking goats.

Something like that. Just make sure to thicken the lines a little more till it's not legible. Manchester's starting to pick up lately though, just saying you should give them a chance again John.

I'll give you that one, but it was damn strange to hear goats chatting over the journals. I think there was one called Zazzerpan? Ridiculous goat; it kept asking for pie.

Writing in these journals is SO much easier than you think!

I know diaries can sound silly for boys but I think that's why we call them journals! So boys don't feel silly which is kind of silly really because its just a book

And I know you don't like the idea of kitties in your journal but I'll droaw one for you anyway!!

"Silly" is a good way to put it. I'm not sure what keeping this thing is supposed to accomplish, to be honest.

No, maybe not on a daily basis. Have to do all that necessary stuff like homework and sleep sometimes. But I'd still take excitement everyday over what I've currently got.

There's always something going on though. There are tons of clubs you could join maybe?

True, but I don't think I could return to most of the clubs I used to belong to.

Yep. He turned into a ghost temporarily. He's alive and all right now though.

Well, at least he got better. Bit strange using the same kind of words one would use for getting over a cold for getting over, y'know... being dead.

I used to play a lot of Muggle sports and even did Quidditch for a bit. Not really the best hobbies for someone who can't even walk properly anymore.

Ahh I gotcha. Well, you could always try something new. Do you like music or play an instrument at all? The Music Club is always looking for people.
Even if you don't know how to play or sing there's always someone to teach you.
