008 Roaches check in, but they don't check out.
I'm well excited for qudditch, it's hard not to be when your captain is Tony Stark, who is amazing by the way! We've got such a great team, it's going to be brilliant!
I'm thinking of getting a new broom, any suggestions?
[Filtered Privately to Sherlock]
I want to apologize for what happened.

Really, I think if people are so annoyed by it, they can simply turn the page and ignore it. No one's time is being wasted against their will. Some might be short with you, but you do have a tendency to question the mundane things we take for granted, and on the whole, people don't like little kinks in their routine.

Sherlock and I had a row over it, so it annoyed him enough... He tried to take my journal. It was horrid.
Thanks, though. I'll think about it. It was just really off-putting, I don't want to offend anyone else.
How's Trollki?

That does sound horrid, but Sherlock is only one person. Do you value his opinion so much that you would allow it to over-power your own?
He's excellent, as always. He's become quite keen on the tapping, although he still has yet to manage something coherent.

I don't know, he's sort of a sod. Okay, no, he's really an utter sod. But.. I don't know.
That's good, we'll totally have to work on that some more when we both get time, yeah?

It's understandable. Conflict can be, heh heh, conflicting. And there is nothing wrong with giving in. It just means that he has a more dominant and stalwart will.
Naturally. He seems to respond better to you as a teacher, anyway.

You're trying to get me to disagree and prove you wrong by continuing with my midnight musings. I'm not stupid.
I wonder why... You'd think he'd be more comfortable with you teaching him.

Alas, you have discovered my dastardly designs. What ever shall I do? You have bested me, Oh Ponderer of the Night. I lay myself ever at your feet.
Please, who listens to their parents?
no subject
Hush up! Either way it worked, because losing to Sherlock is really something I wouldn't favour.
...I do.

Good boy. That's the spirit.
Oh. Well. My parents insisted that magic wasn't real and that I was a fool for believing in it. So. I stopped listening a long time ago.

I'm still curious as to why he chooses me to harass on, plenty of other people write about dumb things.
Oh, yeah, mine, didn't do that. I mean, for part of my life I grew up as a muggle but...

Possibly because you're younger and in the same house. It makes you a readily available target.
If they had their way, I would have continued living as a muggle. They would much rather pretend that this whole magic nonsense didn't exist, thank you very much, and they would really appreciate it if I stopped being a wizard.
But this is the first place I've ever even remotely felt like I belonged.
