So, I know that Halloween this year is a big memorial. What's it usually like? Do we get to trick or treat or anything or ...is that not something wizards do.

With a bit of imagination im sure we could come up with something. I suppose it makes sense given there arent exactly houses to go wandering to with buckets or pillow cases. But well make do!

Yes thats what id heard as well. It must have been something people very much wanted to keep under wraps... Which really only makes me more curious!

I was talking to someone else about maybe trick-or-treating between classrooms instead of houses.

Maybe they'll actually tell us at the memorial.

I should hope so. We attend the school i think we deserve to know its history.

Probably! I ...wouldn't bring it up until after the memorial though. I don't want people thinking we're being disrespectful.

Its history and it's current events. I mean, I might not have been in the wizarding world until now but I'd like to know if there are any wars going on, you know? That's kind of a big deal.

Definitely. I also imagine those students who have parents involved in the wizarding world would like to know. Mine on the other hand are perpetually happier to not know a lick of magic folk. They like to pretend im off at some kind of special childrens boarding school i figure.

Theyre muggles and mum had a bad run in with a witch when she was our age. I cant really blame them i guess.
