That's silly, Hogwarts is full of cute and fun girls to date! My big brother found a girl just like that and I think he's really lucky to have her, I haven't found one yet but someday I will and then we can go to Madam Puddifoot and have a romantic date! I'll bring her roses and play a song for her and we'll kiss at the end, so it'll be very romantic, and...I think the English for this is, "to sweep her off her feet"? English is a strange language, why do you want to sweep a girl's feet, that's not very nice, but sì, that's what I'll do!

Cute and fun, yes, but pureblooded Italian girls singing while they cook, perhaps not. For one thing, most everyone is British.

Hmm, that's true. I guess I can date a British girl, but I don't know what my mother would think. I'll have to ask her and see what she says.

You could tell her it's practice, I suppose. People rarely marry the people they're with at our age, do they?

I don't think she'll like it, she thinks British girls are too silly and pale and she hates their cooking. I think my parents might have someone they want me to marry though, so I'm not even sure if I can date in the first place, unless the girl they want me to marry is in Hogwarts and I can date her...maybe I can have a long distance relationship instead! It's romantic to get love letters everyday from that special someone far far away!!
