So it would appear that the High Inquisitor is no longer gracing us with his presence. An unfortunate event indeed.
It is perhaps a little late to point out that the majority of you acted with absolute disregard for common sense, so I'll spare you the lecture for now. Though I do wonder if etiquette lessons are necessary.
On that note, I will announce that the wedding is now unnecessary and is in fact, cancelled. If you hadn't figured out why by now, there's no hope for you. Of course, we were never intending on allowing it to go so far, that would have been ridiculous.
I'm sure you're all very disappointed.
[If you are Constance, Bro or an Ampora kid he would have found you and talked to you prior to posting it. Whether you want to handwave that or not is up to you, but I'm down with doing action posts here.]

I expected a cue to come and join the fight.
[She finally sits back down, drawing herself to her full height.]
I was waiting on the great Aurors to figure him out. I was waiting for a sign to come in with everyone else and take this place back once you all had him worked out.
And instead, I waited. I waited. I saw your shade, I saw what else was going on.
I realized there was never going to be a cue.

Then you're more naive than I first thought. [He finally manages to say in a quiet, seething tone. He turns away from her, not wanting her to see how genuinely upset he is by this.]
A great auror is still just a soldier for the ministry. They know- No. I know as well as anyone that the ministry holds the real power here. No amount of tantrumin' or arguin' would have seen him out of the school without even more dire consequences. This isn't a war. Even if it was, it isn't won by fightin'.
[He turns a little, raising an eyebrow at her.] What do you meant 'what else'?

You honestly don't think he wasn't digging at the smaller things that anyone else would have overlooked just to cause the kind of trouble that would have us all so distracted we wouldn't see the seeds of something bigger being planted?
And even if an auror is just a soldier for the ministry, wouldn't it still be your place to inform them that they have a problem in their ranks? I can't imagine it would be the first time.
[She sighs, folding her arms over her chest and glaring.]
...your 'shade'.

Of course, he was. But that doesn't mean any of us had the power or means to simply push him from the school. Rebellion is easily stamped out by men like him.
I do so love the assumption that I sat on my arse and let him push me around without informin' the ministry. I did. On multiple occasions. Perhaps it was from such protests that he was so kindly promoted.
[He returns the glare, but with much less power to it than her.]
Are you goin' to use my subconcious against me now?
