I've already seen at least five people mention Valentine's Day.

Did you know there's no actual proof linking Saint Valentine of Rome or of Terni to romantic notions? It's all legend. Probably not even true.

Why do people care about this holiday?

It's true, most people tend to focus on romantic relationship, but I've always found the occasion to celebrate platonic and family relationships as well. I always sent valentines to my parents, as a child.
