Ah, it's that time of year again! The Yule ball is coming and I'm sure everyone will look beautiful! This is to the students who need some help putting their Yule ball outfit together - Mamma is more than happy to help and since everyone has been good and staying healthy, I have more than enough time to make some dresses or at least help with fixing any old ones you might have.

H'oh, hyu mean Dolores! Ja, she is vun perfect voman. [WINKS salaciously at him, flicking her wand and summoning a stream of various little gemstones that change colour as she lays them out on the robes and hat.]

Aha! Ye- [Wait, what?] Who? [He crinkles his nose and gives her a confused look. He's new here, he hasn't met Dolores yet. He had expected that flirty little line to win Mama over so much easier.]

[Narrows eyes at robes and carefully moves wand over the cuffs and tips of the collar, delicately embroidered cursive 'J.S.'s appearing in silver thread.]

Never heard of her. [He shrugs lazily.] Cant've been thinkin' of her, then. Guess again!

Hmm... Iz eet Constance?

[Turns the mannequin this way and that, adjusting a few feather and gems here and there.]

Her? Pretty sure she'd rather skin me and eat me than dance with me.

[He crinkles his nose and laughs.]

Und how iz dis? [Gestures at the robes.]

Who? [Go easy on him, Mamma. He's new, he doesn't know half these people]

Oh, YES. [He pushes himself off the table and pads over to take a look, making approving noises as he does.]

[Just pats him on the head and grins at the approving noises.]

Vhy don'tchu try dem on und ve vill see how dey look, ja?

[He inches away as he's pet on the head. He likes her and all, but he doesn't particularly enjoy being touched unless it's...yeah.]

Let's give it a go! [He practically prances forward, slinking into the robes and holding his arms out.] One a scale of one to Marie Antoinette how garishly fabulous am I?

Hy tink Marie Antoinette vuld have killed to be half as fabulous as hyu.

[Grins happily, very pleased with herself before turning one of the windows into a mirror for Jack to admire himself in.]

Oh, absolutely. She could never have pulled off such a lovely shade of..everythin'.

[He grins, turning and looking over his shoulder as he admires his new digs.]

You think so? I agree! I'll have to braid some peacock feathers and matching beads into my beard. [He strokes it thoughtfully.]</small.

I most certainly am. [He tilts his head up proudly, putting his hands on his hip and raising an eyebrow expectantly at her.]

Hy vould be delighted! [Dips a curtsy that looks plain awkward because SHE'S SO BIG.]

Ov cawze! Now go, hyu have classes to teach! [Grins and ushers him out of the infirmary, the frozen peacock's eyes following their progress across the room from the unfortunate bird. Mamma gives Jack a big wet kiss on one cheek and shoves him out the doors.]

I'm goin', I'm goin'. I won't trouble you any longer, I promise.

[He babbles, hunching a little as she kisses him and shoves him outward. He stares for a long moment before he slinks away and swaggers off to class.]
