It's been a bit quiet in the castle lately. Understandable, because I think a lot of people are home for the holidays.

So I was wondering - how many people are here, and how many of you want to have a little get together? It'll be better then sitting around not doing anything, and I could probably get help from the house elves as far as food goes.

If anyone wants to do this, just come talk to me, Steve Rogers.

Parents went to the States for business so I'm still here. I've been catching up on reading so I haven't left the dorms that often recently.

A get together sounds like fun though. :)

I'm staying here, but I don't really see the point in social gatherings. I stayed to get away from that sort of thing.

For a party? I think I could ask. I don't think there's any sort of rule preventing kids from leaving, granted they have transport.

Hey, the snitch in Quidditch used to be a real bird. So really it's not that much of a leap.

Jarvis would be your transport so. I think the teachers will be fine with it.

The Great Hall should be fine - if there's a lot of people there's space, and if there's only a few people we can just take over one of the House tables.

I don't like party parties where you have to get dressed up, are expected to dance, and be in a room full of strangers all at once. Steve's just suggesting a small get-together and those are fun. :)

[In other words he's pretty sure he's not invited, other than in that whole open invitation sort of way in which Steve can't get away with specifically excluding him, and besides, Steve is one of Bruce's other friends, the ones who get to know his secret and help him with it. The group of which Herbert is very, very definitely not a part.]

You should come anyway. That way I can make sure you actually eat something instead of wasting away to nothing with your head stuck into your studies. :)

Besides, it'll be nice to spend time together out of the dorms.
