By no small measure of effort I seem to have been awarded the title of Slytherin Head of House. The timing is incredibly fitting, given that I'll have been teaching here for almost an entire year now. Who new that such honourable promotions would come so quickly, I had no idea I was considered a good fit for it.
[Which is to say he knew all along and he's been waiting for this to happen.]
As such, if any Slytherins are in need of advice or assistance, whether it be academic or not, are free to visit my office within reasonable hours. Any questions?


Ah. I suppose I should also give thanks to anyone who attended my birthday celebrations it february, I was pleasantly surprised by it.

Of course, that does not excuse anyone from their studies. Students of all classes should keep in mind that we will be focusing strictly on practicals this week. I would suggest you go over your previous months reading before attending or you may be surprised yourself upon entering the room, We will have an array of live subjects so I ask that you not only bring the necessary supplies but that you also bring your brains and make sure they're functioning for once in your lives. Mischief will not be tolerated when our classes are under the scrutiny of live magical creatures.

Again we broach the curiosity topic. A brain, an appendage, a skull, all of these would be very helpful in my extra curricular studies.

If you want a brain or appendage you'd be better off asking the potions master. A skull, however, can be easily provided if you were to simply pick a class mate and present them to me. In fact, you may be able to nip all three in the bud.

I find most of the kind a Potion's Master might have are dried or altered in some form for preservation. I'd rather watch it rot therefore a fresh sample. Surely one of these magical creatures isn't long for the world?

Are we killing students now? I really must pay better attention to the news.

All of my subjects are in their prime. It's better if they're not knocking on death's door when they're being used as an example to base real world expectations off. Perhaps the Care of Magical Creatures professor can assist you, though I know little of their personality.

In a perfect world we would be. Unfortunately it was sarcasm, though I will admit I do have more than one skull with absolutely no value to me.

However, I believe you are misunderstanding. I do have a skull, it is not the one in my head, nor does it belong to a classmate. It is of no use to me, but it may be of use to you.
