This is perhaps the strangest hallucination I have ever experienced. Tactile is not generally a component nor do I tend to believe I've lived two different childhoods. Can't be H.O.U.N.D. and I haven't used. Lucid dreaming, perhaps? Most likely though in that case I have rather lost control. Very odd indeed, but then I do seem to harbor the belief that this book will populate itself with responses and that I'm at a school for learning magic. It hardly does to only call one thing odd when so much is absolutely ridiculous. But I believe it. That shouldn't be possible.

I'll have to consider carefully how to move forward from here. I'm not sure how but it could be Moriarty. Makes as much sense as anything.

Here you are suspecting it might be some kind of hallucination when I'm the one who didn't really think magic was real until I got to Diagon Alley and you're the one who's known about Hogwarts your whole life. What the hell is going on?

I'm not sure at this point. I have two opposing memories of my childhood, one which matches what you're describing and another than leads linearly into my present.

No, I'm not, and considering you were there for my birthday just last month, you should know that. I'm seventeen.

I can't have been at your birthday last month because last month was the incorrect month for it to have been your birthday. Unless you've moved it. That aside, seventeen year old John, I'm in my thirties and so should you be. Something very odd is going on.

There's got to be some kind of weird magic scrambling things up. I look like I'm in my thirties, and I don't seem able to do any magic, and... my scar changed. But it's just my body that's changed, not my mind or memories.

We're being affected by the same thing but in different ways and sadly, I can't discount magic anymore. This is incredibly inconvenient. Are you in Hufflepuff, then?

Weird stuff happens all the time, but I suppose that makes sense given how much magic is done here everyday. You said you've got two sets of memories, so you should remember that much, at least.

This was all round-about fourteen years ago for me. It's not as though I remember it all as if it were just yesterday. Meet me in the great hall for breakfast. Ravenclaw table. We'll be able to get a better idea of how everyone else might be effected as well.
