So the end of one pointless Holiday only brings another along soon after. Does anyone want to enlighten me as to what the point of easter even is? All it looks to me is the worship of eggs and some sort of sentient rabbit god. What would possess anyone to worship a rabbit? And how are eggs related to this at all?

It makes no sense.

Oh my, it doesn't have anything to do with the worship of eggs or rabbits at all. That's the more commercial side of it, it's supposed to symbolize spring you see. The eggs are plastic and contain candy...or perhaps are chocolate and contain caramel.

Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ after he was crucified. While he's not a god, he is the son of God and ascended into heaven to be with his father. Christians believe that God created everything in the beginning and that heaven is the afterlife.

I don't know, dear, commercialization is a funny thing.

But it's not magic at all; anything is possible with God. You only have to have faith in Him.

It is a bit difficult to explain when the person you're speaking with hasn't been exposed to religion, but it's what I believe.

He can because He is everything. He's the beginning and the end. Humans couldn't possibly comprehend the full extent of it.

It's called faith, dear.
