I'll get down to the brass tacks, I will be one of your new Potions Professors here at Hogwarts. You'll know me as Professor Mercer; I'm from America, I know what I'm talking about and I do it well. If you have a problem with that, there are multiple ways for you to exit my classroom.

I will be scheduling appointments to meet with all of my students to find out exactly where your strengths and weaknesses are. I expect you all to attend since it counts towards your year end mark. I'll be working with the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw students.

As expected, I had a letter waiting for me when I arrived. Lex wasted no time is sending his research requests. I don't see why we couldn't have done all this work back home.
