[Dirk has glanced from his homework to the journal his uncle got him for over an hour now. Writing something in there sounded like a lot more fun than trying to catch up on assignments after missing so much school. He hasn't a clue of what to say, so he just rolls with the first thing that comes to mind.]
I can't wait for the school year to end.
It's getting ridiculously difficult to keep up with all of my assignments, especially knowing that in September, I start at Hogwarts.
Regular school work is boring in comparison to the idea of learning magic.
Plus, summer will be awesome for reasons.

Charms as in etiquette or... spells?
Yeah, well, it's not like we're given a detailed support manual explaining everything.

First year learn boths spells and wand ettiquette in my classes, so if you get down to it, I guess you could say I teach both. And a certain elloquence is required when casting charms.
Well for those of us raised in the wizarding world, it's all second nature to us, so there's no need for things to be explained. Believe me, some of us are equally baffled when it comes to being in your world.

I suppose I know more or less what the course curriculum will entail if you do end up being my teacher.
That's understandable, but it doesn't make the immersion process any easier.
