_{[Dirk has glanced from his homework to the journal his uncle got him for over an hour now. Writing something in there sounded like a lot more fun than trying to catch up on assignments after missing so much school. He hasn't a clue of what to say, so he just rolls with the first thing that comes to mind.]}


I can't wait for the school year to end.
It's getting ridiculously difficult to keep up with all of my assignments, especially knowing that in September, I start at Hogwarts.
Regular school work is boring in comparison to the idea of learning magic.
Plus, summer will be awesome for reasons.

Mostly just playing video games.
I'm trying to beat all of Dave's scores before he comes home.

Isn't your family wizards? Why don't you ask if they can get you some textbooks or something. That could be entertaining at least.

I'll ask my uncle if there are any old ones around here.
It's mostly just gaming magazines.
Once Dave finishes with school we're supposed to go to the place to get my school supplies.

If he's a teacher he should have something. Or be able to get you something quick.
Diagon Alley? That's always interesting.

I would think so, but I don't know.
I'll actually have to ask him because there's nothing semi-educational in plain sight here.

Even if he doesn't, he should be able to get you your hands on something. You're allowed to study the theoretical before you start.

Busy. Not like the rest of London. Seems older, if that makes sense. Which is natural when you think about it.
