If anyone had the misfortune of speaking with me on a day in which I seemed...out of character, I apologise. I was not feeling myself and I suggest that you do not become accustomed to such behaviour.

As for my students. I would like you to return the essays I handed back last week. Given the circumstances, the grades need to be reconsidered. I can assure you that less than half of those were as satisfactory as I originally thought.
