[Hope you're excited for dragons because there's one slowly creeping up from the side of the bed, his little dragon arm being puppeteered to wave. A mock voice follows it.]

Hellooo, Mum. I heard you were in the hospital, so I came all the way over to cheer you up.

[The only reason Dave didn't see Wilbur come in was because his housemate crawled through the curtain surrounding Dave's bed. But he sees the little dragon head creeping up from the side of the bed, and he's trying really hard not to smile.]

Hey there little guy, how's mommy's little pimpdaddy doing?

It's sooo boring without you! [The little dragon slumped forward to express his sadness over the situation.]

I bet. Must be tough with just your daddy, right? [He received a puff of golden sparks as a reply.] I'll be back in action tomorrow, don't worry.

I can't get away with anything! [The small dragon slowly started to climb up on to the bed, successfully escaping the hands of his puppet master.] ....Except that.

[Dave gave a small snrk as the small dragon pulled himself up on the bed and crawled over to Dave.] Yeah, you know who the soft touch is, don't you. [He scritched the dragon's head and ran his hand down his neck.]

[Wilbur popped his head up.] Hey, I resent that. [He frowned slightly, crossing his arms on the bed and resting his chin on them.]

Whoops, didn't see you there. [Yeah that's total bullshit.] Sup?

I came to check on you. You've probably had a lot of visitors already.

Seriously? I would've guessed you'd have a line out the door. I'd only get VIP treatment because I come bearing dragons. [He tugged lightly on the tiny dragon tail.]

Nah, see, that's only if I won. Jade'll probably pop in, but other than that I'm not holding my breath. You and the doctor always get VIP treatment. [In return, the dragon turns and puffs golden sparkles in Wilbur's face.]

I'd come visit either way. I don't care if we won or lost. [He thought for a second..] Well, yes I do, but the important thing is that you're not dead.

[He flinched when Wilbur mentioned that yeah, it did matter. Not that you could tell with the shades, but his gaze fell to the bedspread, and the little dragon curled up next to his thigh.] I honestly doubt Specter's gonna see it that way.

Don't worry about him. If he gives you any grief, tell me, and I'll take care of it.

[Dave snrked again, but it worked. He tried hard not to smile.] Deal. I will totally talk to you if I need a hit put out on my quidditch captain.

[He nodded, stroking his chin.] I don't come cheap, you know.

Yeah? How much junk food would I have to ply you with to keep Specter from pitchcapping me and leaving me for dead?
