You know there are better ways to conceal bruises, don't you? Plus there are spells that will get rid of bruises entirely instead of covering them up.

<sub>[Dirk doesn't respond to Dave; he just can't anymore. There's nothing to say even if he could calm himself down. Everything just hurts and he's so sad and hurt. Being close to Dave like this really does help, but all he's really doing apart from cleaning is soaking Dave's shirt with his tears. Maybe this'll be like the other times he's cried himself into exhaustion. The outcome is always a cathartic state and that's what he really needs right now.

That and to know Bro isn't mad at him like he's so sure he is, regardless of what Dave's said.

And then there's a third person on the bed. Dirk doesn't have to turn around to know who it is, because who else could it be? That and as much as he's clung to Bro when he's been upset means it's impossible for him to not know. He's just not sure why that makes him cry even harder.]</sub>
