So who else had an awesome Christmas? I had a pretty serious haul. I can't wait to get back on the pitch and try out my new gear.

Muggle Christmas is so cute. Did you know they have something called fairy lights but they're not actually fairies? They don't even look like 'em.

Well they must've had a reason for calling 'em that in the first place, right?

I mean...well! Of course they had to think they looked like fairies in the first place so it's not their fault if they don't know that fairy lights don't ACTUALLY look like fairies and---

Then they've got really weird ideas on what fairies look like.

I...want to correct my parents sometimes, but it's not like I can bring actual fairies home to decorate our house.

Why not draw a picture? You're really good at that.

...I think the magic world scares them, too.

Well yeah, fairies aren't exactly the greatest.

that's not what I meant I mean I think my parents are still freaked out that I can do...magic and stuff.

Shouldn't they be proud of you? It's so much more useful.

I think they don't like that I can do things on my own too! Professor Iroh has had to help me out a lot with...getting out of the house and all that, during the holidays.

And of course. No one wants lights that natter on when they're supposed to be being all twinkly.

You'd think they'd call 'em something else though, like little tubey lights, or something.

YES. It is all purpley with lacey bits around the edge. She got it for extra firm control so I don't knock myself out with my nungas every time I fly about the pitch. Which I think is quite advantageous myself.

Little tubey lights doesn't sound full of Chrimbo cheer and spiritosity.
